Global Mindset: Me To We Activities

The activities in this unit are meant to build a sense of community and engender mutual collaboration. Actively working to bring more care and compassion to all moments of our lives (even the seemingly unimportant ones) is key to creating a close-knit community. This unit achieves this goal through a series of Me To We activities that strengthen peer-to- peer connections and unite the community as a whole. Participants are encouraged to recognize our collective humanity, appreciate diverse perspectives and understand the ways that individual actions reverberate throughout the community at large. As well, participants develop the attitude to engage constructively in an increasingly interdependent world and to become messengers of mindful living within their families, schools and communities.
